Production & Heritage

Casa Dragones sources hand-harvested blue agave from the volcanic soils surrounding the Valley of Tequila in Jalisco. The distillery employs a modern diffuser process using steam and water extraction, which the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT) has recognized as the most efficient and sustainable production method in the industry?consuming less water, less energy, and producing less waste than many traditional approaches while using fewer agaves per liter. A key element in the production is fresh natural spring water drawn from underground aquifers fed by the headwaters of the Volcano of Tequila, rich in minerals gathered from the volcano’s soil and put through an advanced purification process before blending.
